On Thursday September 19, 2019 the DAMR (Dutch Association for Migration Research) is organising a one-day PhD workshop on the topic of Legal Implications of European Trends in the Externalisation of Migration Management. This workshop is organised in collaboration with the NNHRR (Netherlands Network for Human Rights Research) Migration and Borders Working Group.

The aim of this workshop is to gather academics and PhD candidates working in the area of shared responsibility for extraterritorial acts in the context of migration management. This is a complicated and developing area of law and practice. Hence, a workshop which allows for the exchange of ideas between academics and junior researchers would be a unique opportunity to discuss and develop ideas.

Speakers will be Maarten den Heijer, Nataša Nedeski and Henri de Waele. The workshop will be concluded with drinks.
